Insomnia is
a bad habit that is not being able to sleep at night. It is a bad habit because
people who get it cannot organize their biological system. Most of people
especially that are 20-40 years old often get insomnia at night. They only can
sleep after night passed at 3 am, even is still awake until morning arrives.
Insomnia is caused not only because of bad biological system but also some
external factors such as over-consuming coffee, having negative thought or
confused, and may be they spend along night by online in the internet. If insomnia
is allowed all time and becomes a habit, it will bring bad impact for insomnia
sufferer. The bad impact of insomnia can
be divided being two effects, that are physical changes and psychological changes.
First, people
who get insomnia will have some physical changes that they feel. Insomnia can
be resulted bad impact physically. People who sleep not well or are not being
able sleep will feel that their body is not well at the morning other than feel
sleepy. Based on the interview result, all of respondent said that they feel
strange with their body after having insomnia. Such as Dova and Kiki, they said
that the body is fainted and the head will be dizzy. It is automatically
results because when biological system is disturbed, body will have stamina
reduction. If body doesn’t have stamina, so that disease will attack body
easily. Such as influenza virus, cough, bronchial tube infection. Sometime, we
cannot refuse insomnia, but we can reduce the habit by doing some exercises. Jogging,
swimming, and gym are effective
exercises that can reduce insomnia habit, and carry back the stamina of the
body.
Apart from
the physically effects, insomnia also results psychological impacts. According
to the interview, Dova as a respondent said that she is unexciting when she
does some activities along a day after having insomnia at night. Other respondent,
Reni said that she will become bad tempered and sensitive. Other impacts by
psychologically, sometimes people don’t concentrate when are doing activities.
Probably, it is related of bad stamina that people have after insomnia. They
are quixotic and lazy to do anything. Except exercises, to outcome
psychological impacts of the insomnia sufferer, people can do meditation to
make a focus in their mind. People can do meditation at home or retired places
by cross-legged sitting, closing eyes, take a deep breath and sigh it slowly.
This is a method how to focus and being a good therapy for insomnia sufferer.
In
conclusion, Insomnia have some bad impacts if people allow it to be a habit,
then the bad impacts are divided being physical changes and psychological
changes. If Insomnia is allowed continuous, it will be dangerous for people health
and concentration. To outcomes the insomnia so that not becomes habit, people
can do some exercising and meditation to keep stamina of the body and
concentration.
